We seek to create a warm, welcoming, and safe place for our clients. Here at CPC we strive to do and to be our best not only in the services we provide but also in the way we view and treat our clients and their families. From the initial contact to the continuation of services, we aim to maintain a high standard of excellence in kindness and professionalism.
The Center for Professional Counseling, LLC is a locally-owned private practice. We believe that personal growth and recovery are possible. We expect that everyone has difficulties at some time or another in life which may require help to get through and arrive at a better place with new skills and insight. Here at CPC our therapist have the training, skills, and experience to help our clients do just that.
We offer a wide range of services for men, women, adolescents, and children as young as 3. Our professional staff specializes in mental and emotional disorders, marital and family counseling, group therapy, vocational counseling, alcohol and substance abuse, and academic adjustment counseling.
To facilitate proper treatment, diagnostic interviews and evaluations by clinical interviews are provided. Recommendations or treatment plans are made following the initial diagnostic evaluations.

HOURS OF SERVICE:
Consultation is by appointment only. Regular office hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Evening appointments are available and may be arranged with your therapist or the receptionist. Front office hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Our office staff is available for routine and emergency appointments, and time is set aside each day for emergency/urgent requests for appointments.
Emergency telephone calls are handled by calling our regular office number (304) 233-2020. An afterhours messaging system will be checked periodically by our Counselors.
